Postponement process for Non Competitive Age Groups U9 to U11

All requests for a fixture postponement must be submitted via the BCFA League website postponement form (https://www.bcfa.leaguesystem.co.uk/website/teampostponementsnew.php). All requests must adhere to the 21 day notice period and clearly state the reason why the postponement is being requested. For the U9, U10 and U11 age groups there will not be a limit on the number of requests that can be submitted during a season.
This change for the way that a postponement notification is sent to the League will come into effect for fixtures being played from Sunday 5 November in the U9, U10 and U11 Divisions. This will bring the process into line with the U12 upwards age groups. This covers all League and Trophy/Cup fixtures. This 21 day notification requirement will not apply to fixtures which are postponed due to inclement weather e.g. frozen pitch, waterlogged pitch which are normally postponed on the day.
If an U9 to U11 game is reported as postponed to Full Time without prior authority (allowing for exceptions noted above) being given from their Fixture Secretary, via the postponement form, then a charge will be raised. Teams who persistently postpone fixtures without prior approval will run the risk of being fined.
